At Matchday.design, we don't want to spend ages explaining what our tool can do – we'd rather just show you. That's why we regularly publish posts and stories on our Instagram account (@matchdaydesign) that were made entirely with Matchday.design. Our current hook is the football World Cup and the German matches.
The idea behind it is simple: when you see how quickly and cleanly a World Cup match turns into a graphic, you can picture exactly how your own club's matches would look.

Why we use World Cup content
During the World Cup, the whole of Germany is talking about football – everyone knows the matches, and the results even more so. That makes World Cup posts the perfect shop window: everyone understands the content straight away and can focus fully on the design and look. That's exactly what we want to show – how raw match data becomes a finished post in seconds.
What you'll see on our Instagram
All the posts are built from the same handful of inputs – teams, date, result, goalscorers:
- Matchday announcement for the German matches, with flags and kick-off time.
- Final score with goalscorers – the result, including a list of goalscorers and minutes.
- Group table – the current standings after every matchday.
- Stories – every design also available in 9:16 format. Here's how it works: Create an Instagram story for your club.
All in a consistent look – so it's obvious at a glance that the posts belong together.
Example: Germany v Curaçao
One German match played through from start to finish – the same data, two post types, one consistent look:

You enter teams, date and result once – the announcement, the final score with goalscorers and the table are then created automatically. This same process is behind every match result graphic.
Created in seconds – that's the point
What matters isn't that these are World Cup graphics. What matters is how quickly they're done: no design software, no hunting for templates, no fiddling with fonts and colours. Enter the data, choose a template, generate – ready in Instagram format (post 1080×1350 px, story 1080×1920 px).
It's not just for the World Cup
What we're showing here with World Cup matches is exactly what your club can do every weekend with its own fixtures – announcement, goals, result, table and stories. Find out more in the post Every matchday becomes content. And to make everything look like your club, you set up your logo, colours and fonts once – see the guide to club branding.
Conclusion
Our World Cup posts are a demo: they show how a few match details can become clean graphics in a consistent look within seconds. Pop over to @matchdaydesign if you'd like to see more examples – and then try it out with your own club.
