Questions about Matchday

What is Matchday.design?

Matchday.design is a tool for amateur football clubs to create Instagram posts and stories around matchday: match announcement, line-up, half-time, goal, result, league table and more. The graphics are created automatically in your club design – with crest, club colors and sponsors.

Do I need design skills?

No. You pick a ready-made template and a match, and Matchday fills in crest, colors, date and result. If you like, you can adjust templates in the designer or build your own – but you don't have to.

How much does Matchday cost?

You test Pro for 5 days with all features – we set up your club personally first. After that, Pro costs €9 per month or €90 per year (two months free) and can be cancelled monthly.

Which graphics can I create?

Match announcement (matchday), line-up, half-time, goal, final score, league table, player of the match, transfers and club announcements – each as an Instagram post (4:5) and story (9:16). With Pro also as an animated video for Reels and Stories.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Matchday runs in the browser and is built for phones – you can create the graphic right at the pitch and share it straight away.

Can I adapt the design to my club?

Yes. You add your crest, club colors, fonts and sponsors once, and they appear in every graphic. You can design templates freely in the designer – and for Pro clubs we can also build your club design for you.

Can I create graphics for several teams?

Yes. With Pro you can add as many teams as you like – men, women, youth – and also create posts that combine several matches, such as all results of a weekend.

Is Matchday GDPR-compliant?

Matchday only sets analytics cookies with your consent, loads fonts from its own servers instead of Google and offers a data processing agreement for your players' data. The public club page (link in bio) works entirely without cookies or tracking.
