Match announcement template for matchday

The match announcement is the post that gets supporters to the ground. Opponent, kick-off and venue need to be clear at a glance – and in the same look every weekend, so your followers instantly link the post to your club.

Examples as a post and a story

Examples use fictional clubs. In your account, your own crests, colours and sponsors will appear.

What the template fills in automatically

Both crests, home and away the right way round
Date, day of the week and kick-off time
Venue or pitch
Competition and matchday
Team (e.g. first team, U19s)
Your sponsors in the footer of the graphic

How to get the most out of it

Post at least two days before the match and repeat it as a story on matchday.
Combine the story version with a countdown sticker on Instagram.
If you run several teams, an "All matches this weekend" post is well worth it.
